Detroit Hawk City
Wish I could take credit for that title, but credit goes to the person who made the sign at Qwest Field on Sunday. I better explain this for anyone not born prior to 1980.
Once upon a time there was this little rock band from Detroit that wore gaudy outfits and painted their faces in black and white. They went by the name of KISS and had a hit with the song "Detroit Rock City".
Anyway, my dad and I are going to the Super Bowl! It's a once-in-a-lifetime thing... until next year, when the game is held in Miami and all the lovely ladies are hanging out in South Beach. Whatever. It's 8 Mile now.
