The Perfect Fall Day
Too bad the marathon wasn't held this weekend. Last weekend was kind of humid. Today was perfect.
It was mid-50s, with a slight breeze. When I took off for the run, the sun was high and bright. The leaves were falling onto the trail along the river.
I turned around after three miles. Coming back, the sun was setting. The sky was a deep pink. Again, it was simply beautiful.
By the time I got home, it was pretty much dark. It gets dark here at around 4:45.
Six miles in just under an hour. Happy with that. It's the first time I've run over four miles in about six weeks.
